Chrysoria Generative art, hand-crafted in code

  • Date of release: August 2025
  • Format: Generative images + Gifs
  • Plateforme: objkt.com
  • Code: P5.js + Affinity Designer

Technomystic Complexity

Chrysoria is a generative series in 3D P5.js exploring ellipsoid symmetry and light as a medium of composition.

Conceptual starts

Each piece starts from a few ellipsoids (webGL mode) that reproduce through offset rotation and translation, generating cyclically symmetrical compositions.

By varying number of objects and positions, kaleidoscopic patterns emerge.

Adding colors

Building upon my previous research into animated lighting with five rotating colored spotlights (Look at Sculpted Flow project).

The project began with seamless looping animations—hypnotic cycles of mirrored ellipsoids shaped by light in 3D P5.js. These loops became the foundation for the visual language and compositions of Chrysoria.

This ongoing series will be released on objkt.com in .gif version.

Generated layers

These formations are then manually assembled or generated on demand to form a coherent whole that invites the viewer into a meditative and contemplative state.

Tools: P5.js (JavaScript) for generation, Affinity Designer 2 for composition and export.

Exclusive high-res artworks

Chrysoria embraces maximalism as both a style and a statement, a child of the saturation age, questioning our appetite for endlessly generated images in the era of AI.

The series includes high-definition 300dpi files (4170×5906 px), optimized for large-scale printing, and distributed exclusively on objkt.com. Alongside these stills, an open number of animations will also be released on objkt.com.

Mandalas Outputs

Like digital mandalas, each piece invites contemplation through symmetry, repetition, and intricacy.

Chromatics Outputs

Theses version are a realm of technomystic hyperstructures — layered, chrysalid visions.
